By 2024, Statista predicts that the collectible car market in North America could be worth as much as $44 billion. Along with this growth, ancillary markets such as the car memorabilia market are also expected to increase. With its Wheels Collection, Pilloo is tapping into these rapidly expanding segments of the economy by providing car collectors and enthusiasts with unique vehicle-inspired pieces of home, office, and garage decor.
The pillows in the Wheels Collection feature an eclectic mix of antique and modern vehicles. Customers preferring a more classical model can get pillows with prints of Beetles, Thunderbirds, or Cruiser Motorcycles. For consumers seeking something trendier, there are also pillows with Ferraris and Sport Bikes.
Should a customer want a pillow featuring a vehicle that isn’t included in the Wheels Collection, Pilloo also offers a custom option where they can upload a photo of the vehicle they want to be depicted, generate a mock-up, and submit the order directly to the design team. Orders made using this option, however, take more time to fulfill.
All of the pillows are made using wrinkle-free 100% polyester and soft velvet fabric, and they are filled with high-quality stuffing materials. Because of this, they can be machine-washed numerous times without losing their shape or fluffiness.
“I surprised my husband with a pillow of his favourite car for his man cave in the basement,” said a satisfied customer. “I was skeptical at first, as far as how Pilloo’s team would take a photo and transfer it onto a pillow, but I’m happy to say the print came out clear as ever and the colours are bold and vibrant. It’s a fantastic addition to his couch down there.”
Pilloo has been making handcrafted custom pillows at its Montreal manufacturing facility since 1999. In addition to pillows, the company also produces custom plush keychains.
