Fire Fighters Coffee Brand’s expanded range includes samples of 6 different coffee varieties from around the world. The taster pack features 6Bean, Cowboy, and Breakfast blends, together with single-origin grinds from Mexico, Peru, and Bali.
The store’s sample pack highlights include a 6Bean, dark roast house blend. This grind combines 6 coffee varieties from around the world and is well-suited to brewing espresso. The Cowboy Blend combines dark and medium roasted beans with cocoa, caramel, and vanilla tones.
FFCB’s Single origin samples include a Mexican, EP-graded, organic medium roast sourced from growers in Chiapas and Oaxaca. This sun-dried variety’s flavor has notes of chocolate, cinnamon, and apple.
FFCB’s founder and CEO Glenn Brizendine comes from a family of firefighters. Himself a past firefighter, he created his company to honor his late father who suffered a heart attack in the line of duty, forcing him into early retirement.
The store allocates proceeds from every coffee sale to contribute to the National Fallen Fire Fighter’s Foundation (NFFF) – an organization that assists the families and co-workers of injured firefighters, and those who lost their lives in the line of duty. “With 2% of total sales being donated to this foundation, Firefighters Coffee is my way of honoring my father’s dream of giving back to the firefighting community he loved so much,” said an FFCB spokesperson.
The store only roasts its coffee after an order is made, and ships it on the same day to ensure maximum freshness. Other products include flavored and decaf coffees, coffee pods, and coffee makers.
FFCB offers coffee blends for home delivery for customers throughout the US and worldwide. In line with its mission statement, “Making a difference, one cup of joe at a time,” the company is committed to supporting first responders, veterans, active military, and their families.
Glenn says: “FFCB is the culmination of dad’s hopes, dreams, and love for not only a good cup of coffee but a way of giving back and helping those like him, that continue to face the same issues day after day. Dad would be proud!”
